Shalom,

I wanted to make this post to let everyone know how much goes into making each garment.

First, the order is Printed and Checked for Errors and Clarifications.

I must check and make sure that the sizes correct. Its important for me to know if you are tall or short. Extra big or Extra small. This way, if you select a really long length I won’t think its a mistake. Sometimes, people select sizes quickly and don’t pay attention. These garments take a lot of work on my part and it costs you a good amount of money. We both need to ensure we get it right the first time.

2nd, I must order fabric, fringes, thread, and other supplies.

Each order requires special attention because its a custom order. The order you make is not “off the rake”. When you decide you want an outfit in Gold, I must go get that gold fabric and the buttons and such and make it. This will take 1-3 weeks if I have to buy it in bulk from my supplier. This is where the process delays sometimes. I am waiting for shipments of fabric.  I do order fabric in advance that I know people want such as white linen, white cotton and black cotton. These colors are popular. I sometimes still run out.

3rd, When all the supplies are gathered together, I must process the order.

Each order has different processing times. When you order 1 garment. Expect it to be done in 1-2 days after I cut it out, however, if your order is over 2 garments. Then expect each garment to take a day or 2 to process. Sometimes, I am able to make 2 garments per day, but that’s on a good day. When I get back to back large orders, it delays everyone’s order. I hope everyone doesn’t think I am sitting around not making the clothes.  Custom orders take time. I process in the order in which is received. If my supplies takes 2 weeks to come in, then it may take 2 more weeks to process many orders.

      1. Cut the Fabric
      2. Sew the Garment
      3. Iron Garments
      4. Add fringes and buttons and embroidery
      5. Check order and fold and pack

4th, Print labels and Bring it to the Post Office.

    1. Usually, I like to drop it off myself to ensure it gets there as quick as possible. I sometimes create shipping labels early, anticipating I will ship it same day. This means if I send you a label tracking by email. I doesn’t mean it is shipped. IT means I am getting ready to ship it. Check the tracking to see updates. When USPS receives the package, it will say it.
  1. Now I am done.  This whole process can take 1-5 weeks depending on the size of your order and if I have the fabric in stock. If you order the right color and its only 1 garment. I can complete the order fast.
